Bolted to the original attachment points, the rear carbon hugger has proven itself in all situations. It protects the rider and motorcycle much better from the dirt coming from the rear wheel. The exposed chain guard has also been lengthened in its construction compared to the original part. This means that unwanted stains - by a well-lubricated chain - on bike and rider are a thing of the past.

Not only technically, but also optically, the rear hugger can utilise its full potential. When installed in combination with the Ilmberger Swingarm chain guard, a visual unity is created that is second to none. Installed in just a few minutes, the value of the motorcycle is increased enormously. This carbon part fits perfectly into the surrounding shapes of the motorcycle and the more Ilmberger parts that are installed and combined, the more impressive the result.

The parts are made exclusively in the latest, state-of-the-art manufacturing process out of carbon fibre prepreg weave in the autoclave. This procedure is also used to produce all of the high performance parts for the Moto GP and Formula 1 racing vehicles.

As with all Ilmberger carbon parts, it features a clear TUV certified coating, this not only improves the appearance, but also protects the carbon fibre from scratching and has a unique UV resistance (with the exception of Racing parts).
