This exhaust silencer with a deep and sporty sound has been developed exclusively for use on closed-course competition circuits, especially for use on racetracks where lower noise levels are required.
Akrapovic engineers have measured 99.1 dB of static noise level for the full system combined with the track day silencer at 5,500 rpm. The exhaust is made from race-proven materials, lightweight titanium finished with a handmade carbon-fibre end cap and silencer bracket.
Power and torque levels are increased by 8.5 bhp at 13,000 rpm and 6.4 Nm at 10,000 rpm when compared with a Suzuki GSX-R1000RR equipped with a standard stock exhaust and measured on the in-house dyno.
ECU remapping is required.
Note: This Track Day silencer can only be installed in conjunction with the Akrapovic titanium evolution full system (S-S10E4-APLT). It can NOT be installed directly to the stock OEM headers.
