The Yoshimura Pro Shield engine case guard was developed to reduce damage to the clutch cover in the event of a fall, thereby minimising the risk of oil leaks and other issues that could render the motorcycle inoperable.
Designed specifically for the CB1000, it combines reliable protection with a beautiful appearance that harmonises with the vehicle's design.
This product features a hybrid structure combining a machined aluminum cover and highly durable POM pads. The aluminum surface is finished with a radial scanning line treatment,
giving the engine area a high-quality and distinctive look.
The acrylic baked-on paint finish on the machined aluminum cover surface in addition to its luxurious appearance is also weather-resistant, making it suitable for users who value the texture and finish of the engine area.
The resin pads are designed to be replaceable, making maintenance after a fall easier.
No modifications to the vehicle body are required; it's a bolt-on design using the original bolt locations and all necessary bolts are included for secure installation.
In the event of a fall, the POM pad is the first to contact the road surface,
preventing direct damage to the generator cover. Then the aluminum cover absorbs the impact, ensuring high protection and sufficient strength.
